1. General Provisions:

By registering for a course, a contract is concluded between the customer and the Rureifel training center. The registration can be done via the online forms or via the written registration form of the Rureifel training center. By registering, the customer undertakes to pay the course fees in full before the course begins. When paying in installments, the first installment must be paid before the course begins. Payment can be made by bank transfer. Payment can be made in cash on site. Booking a course of any kind requires a binding registration. The Rureifel training center is only obliged to conduct the course if the course fee has been received by the Rureifel training center. The lesson for all courses is 60 minutes. Registrations, cancellations and other requests will not be accepted by telephone or verbally in our customer office. Any registration, cancellation and application of any kind must be in writing (preferably by email - by post or in person is also possible). Our teachers are not authorized to accept registrations, cancellations and applications. The Rureifel training center reserves the right to book the premises for the courses depending on availability. The Rureifel training center mainly engages native speakers to conduct the courses. However, course participants cannot claim courses with a specific teacher. The training center will always endeavor to tailor the course material to meet customer requirements, but accepts no responsibility for failure to achieve a specific language level or failure in exams. The prices for the language courses at the Rureifel training center do not include German sales tax, since the training center is exempt from sales tax for the training activities. Any value-added or sales tax payments that may be incurred abroad are borne by the customer.

2. Cancellation policy and special rights of termination:

You have the right to cancel this contract within fourteen days without giving reasons. The cancellation period is fourteen days from the day the contract was concluded. In order to exercise your right of withdrawal, a corresponding document must be available in writing, addressed to: Training Center Rureifel, Am Ellernbusch 18-20, 52355 Düren, Telephone: 02421/9746337) by means of a clear statement (e.g. a letter sent by post or e-mail) . The attached form is an offer, you can of course also write your own short letter. To meet the cancellation deadline, it is sufficient for you to send the communication regarding your exercise of the right of cancellation before the cancellation period has expired.

Consequences of revocation

If you have requested that the services should begin during the cancellation period, you must pay us a reasonable amount that corresponds to the proportion of the services already provided up to the point in time at which you informed us of the exercise of the right of cancellation with regard to this contract compared to the total scope of the services provided for in the contract.

According to German civil law, the fourteen-day right of withdrawal does not apply to contracts that were concluded on business premises. In the case of a language course booking made on the premises of the Rureifel training center using a signed registration form, there is no right of cancellation. If a course participant is unable to attend one or more lesson dates, he is not entitled to another date or a partial refund of the course fee. The change of teacher does not entail a claim for reimbursement or a special right of termination. If the language course ends prematurely and a previously agreed installment payment is made, this loses its validity and all installments are due immediately.

The courses are booked for a predetermined period of time or a predetermined number of hours for private and company courses. In the event of missed appointments and/or interruptions in the language courses, there is no entitlement to a partial refund or to replacement lessons, this does not override the statutory right of withdrawal of 14 days. Course participants have the right to cancel the booked course after the first lesson if the lesson does not meet the expectations of the student. The cancellation request must be submitted no later than 24 hours after the first lesson and must be in writing. The Rureifel Training Center reserves the right to change teachers. In this case, the course participant is not entitled to cancel the course. The course participant has no right to a specific teacher. The mere absence from a course does not count as deregistration, which means that the obligation to pay the course fee remains intact. If the course cannot be held due to force majeure, the participant has no right to a refund or Making up missed lessons. Should the training center Rureifel temporarily close or have to close for reasons for which it is not responsible, such as to prevent the spread of epidemics and infectious diseases, this circumstance does not entitle the student to terminate the contract. For this reason, a (deposit) payment already made cannot be reclaimed. Rather, the contract is suspended for the duration of the closure of the training center and will continue unchanged after the reason for closure no longer applies. The training center undertakes to inform students as soon as possible of the closure of the school and the planned resumption of classes.

3. Special provisions for private and company courses:

In the case of private and company courses, course participants have the option of arranging appointments directly with the Rureifel training center or with the booked teacher. The booking of a certain number of hours is binding. The course participant is not entitled to a refund of a partial amount if he no longer wishes to attend the full pre-booked hours. If a pre-arranged appointment cannot be attended, it must be canceled in writing (e-mail) at the latest 24 hours before the agreed appointment at the Rureifel Training Center (on Sundays and public holidays on the last working day by 12 noon before the agreed date). In this case, the date will be rescheduled, which means that the lessons will be postponed. If the appointment is canceled too late or not at all, there is no entitlement to make up for the missed lessons. After a year, the hours expire. The Rureifel training center does not refund hours not taken.

4. Special Provisions for Intensive Courses:

The intensive courses include 20 lessons per week with 4 lessons per day. The starting dates of all courses are binding. In exceptional cases, the Rureifel Training Center reserves the right to postpone or change the course dates. In such cases, course participants will be informed of any change in good time. If the minimum number of participants for a language course is not reached, the Rureifel Training Center reserves the right to cancel or postpone the course. If the course is canceled, the course fee paid by the participant will be refunded if the participant does not agree to the course being postponed. A rebooking or a change of course is permitted in exceptional cases and takes place in consultation with the Rureifel training center. The rebooking must be requested in writing at least 5 working days before the start of the course. If no written application is submitted or if it is submitted too late, the training center reserves the right to reject it. After completing a course, the course participant has the opportunity to attend a follow-up course. Each subsequent course requires a new registration. Without an effective registration, the participant has no right to a course reservation.

5. Special provisions for small numbers of participants:

The provisions of §3 apply to private and company courses. If the minimum number of participants in intensive (except German) or group courses is not reached, the course in question will be held with reduced hours under the same payment conditions, as long as the number of participants does not fall below 4 participants . If there are 4 or fewer participants, the start of the course will be postponed.

2.1. In the case of intensive courses (minimum number of participants 5 people), 2 lessons of 60 minutes per day are taught with 4 participants.

2.2. For group courses, the minimum number of participants is 7 people

6. Special provisions for German courses:

The Rureifel training center can help course participants to obtain a visa for the period of the booked course. In order to claim this, the course participant must first register for the German course and pay at least the course fee for the first month ) to keep. The remaining course fees, if applicable/paid, will be refunded. In order to meet the requirements for the refund, the participant undertakes to send the rejection notice from the German consulate and the certificate for the issuance of a visa to the Rureifel training center. These documents must be submitted (by email or letter) at least 7 working days before the start of the course. If this does not happen, the Rureifel training center will inform the local immigration authorities about possible visa abuse. Course participants who have received a visa on the basis of our certificate for issuing a visa cannot cancel the booked German course. The intensive courses take place regularly from 8:30 a.m to 1:00 p.m. or from 1:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. In rare cases, the Rureifel training center reserves the right to adjust the course time due to organizational requirements. Changing the times for organizational reasons does not entail a special right of termination or a right to a partial refund. If there is free space, the participant can book a place in the student dormitory. This dormitory place includes a bed, a bedside table, a closet, in a double or triple room, as well as access to shared bathrooms, toilets, shared kitchens and lounges. The booking becomes legally binding when it is confirmed by the Rureifel training center on the registration form for the language course. There is no entitlement to accommodation unless this has been confirmed in writing by the training center. The entitlement expires on the day the language course is completed.

7. Probestunden:

The trial lessons offered by the Rureifel training center are non-binding for the participant. If the participant is not satisfied with the trial lesson, he has no obligations. If the participant registers for the course afterwards, the trial lesson will be charged as a regular lesson. In the case of group and intensive courses, the trial lesson is the duration of one course session and does not appear at the agreed time, an invoice of EUR 39.00 will be issued. Otherwise, the participant will be billed €39.00.

8. Coupons:

Vouchers cannot be paid out in cash. It is possible to offset a voucher with additionally booked services. A voucher (service voucher) is valid for 12 months from the date of issue (voucher purchase). A change of course is generally possible depending on free capacities.

9. Disclaimer:

The Rureifel training center assumes no liability for damage, accidents and injuries to course participants or theft and damage to their property during the lesson and on the way there or back. The Rureifel training center assumes no liability for possible material damage caused by the transfer of knowledge.
