What can be funded?

With the education voucher, you have the opportunity to take part in an eligible further education course without having to bear the costs yourself.

It is important that you redeem the education voucher within three months of receipt at an approved institution of your choice. The education voucher shows, among other things, your educational goal, the required duration of your further education and the regional scope.*

Who is supported? Further training support is possible if you are unemployed or at risk of becoming unemployed. However, further training can also be an option for working people, for example to keep their jobs.

What costs are covered? The costs for participating in eligible further training are borne in full by the institution that issued you the training voucher. Typically, this is the Federal Employment Agency or the job center.

What are the requirements? The requirement for receiving an education voucher is usually that the selected educational institution and the further training are certified according to AZAV.
